JOHNNY BEARE
Johnny is married to Susanna and has one daughter, called Lois. Johnny started as full-time Youth Leader in St Elizabeth's in September 2009, after working as a youth worker in Hillsborough, Moira and within Crosslinks Mission Agency. Johnny is a long-suffering Liverpool FC supporter, and despite his age still harbours hope of donning that famous red shirt! Johnny became a Christian as a teenager (in 1995), after his youth leaders took the time to explain the Bible to him. Johnny became convinced that the Bible was more than just a book, and was in actual fact the very words of God, calling him to 'repent and believe the good news of Jesus'. Johnny has since developed a real desire to see young people come to faith and grow in faith as they are confronted with the Jesus revealed in Scripture.

EMMA MUNGAVIN
Emma is married to Ross, and is from the mighty Newtownabbey. Prior to starting her ministry apprenticeship in St Elizabeth’s Emma studied Sociology at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Emma was brought up in a Christian home and can remember being completely fascinated with God from a very early age. It was at the age of 5 that Emma came to understand the gospel in a simplistic way and was approximately 7 when she first thanked God for Jesus and asked him to forgive her. Emma says that, "Being a Christian means firstly that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection God has forgiven me - not only for every sin that I have committed and am yet to commit, but for the sinful nature of my heart. This gives me great freedom and joy! It also means that I know that God has every aspect of my life sorted out."
